new moon excitement

Whether it was my whinning or somehow making him feel guilty... I'm excited to say... my sweetheart took me to see New Moon Sunday night! Woohoo!

Good movie, ending sucks, just because now we have to wait until the next one comes out to find out what the heck happens. Why do movies do that to us? Grrr

Now I'm on cloud nine since we actually went to the movies, which never happens! I won't get my hopes up, but maybe just maybe we'll go to the movies again sometime soon! Keep your fingers crossed for me.

new moon venting

Even though the weather is crappy outside, I'm having one of those days where I just wanna get out of the house & do something! I've been dying to see that movie "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" but unfortunately I have nobody to go with. The thought crossed my mind... why not just go by myself, but what fun is that?

I had myself all pumped to go earlier. I checked the movie times for today & started to get excited about it, then I changed my mind. I don't really wanna go by myself and really... why should I have to go by myself? So I went from all excited to go to the movies to now I'm sad & depressed about it & yes... I'll admit it, I've shed a tear.

I guess I should quit whinning about something I know what the end result will be. Waiting another year until it comes out for rent then watching it at home... which is the usual & the only way we watch movies around here.

I can only wish & dream that my sweetheart will come around & take me to see the movie.

Very doubtful but still hopeful.

black friday madness

I'm not one of those people who get up at 2am the day after Thanksgiving & venture out into the madness of the shop-a-holics world. Nothing about that appeals to me & never has. In fact, I've never been much on shopping to begin with. I have to be in the mood to shop I guess, otherwise I tend to get cranky & bitchy & then I end up making everyone around me miserable.

Today, we got up & around, left the house around 10ish & headed out to look at some houses. I've been so excited to go look at houses all week long. Just the dream & thought of having a house again & more room to spread out & not have to have a storage is awesome & I want to jump up & down just thinking about it! Fred wasn't feeling very good so we only went to two different places then we headed to Langston's where my dad was with the Langstons wagon. We stopped at Logan's Roadhouse to grab something to eat then headed for home.

Some of the houses we looked at today were crazy. We saw a triple wide house that was almost 3,000 sq ft. It was amazing... but also came with an amazing price tag as you can imagine. Needless to say we will still be looking for houses & hopefully we'll find that one house thats perfect for us soon.

We rented 3 movies tonight: "Four Christmases", "The Ugly Truth" & "The House On The Left".

So far we've watched The Ugly Truth & The House On The Left, they were both good... The Ugly Truth was definitely funny! The House On The Left was a little different, definitely had some blood in it, but I love watching scary movies!

I'm dying to go to the movies & see several that are out right now. I've seen allot of good previews. Truth is, I haven't been to the theatre in almost 2 years & the chances of me getting to go anytime soon are slim to none. But seriously... everyone I know that's seen "New Moon" says its really really good, so of course I'm dying to see it. Along with about a million other movies too.

Going to the theatre is so expensive these days & it does suck when you can't hit the pause button to run to the bathroom or grab something to drink & not miss anything. But once & a blue moon it would be a nice date night to have.

I have to say having a nice 4 day vacation for the holiday, it's absolutely wonderful! I'm enjoying the time off work for sure.

introducing dusty & bruno

Dusty was born on or around March 26, 2009. His mommy didn't claim him so he became my first bottle calf & I became his new mommy! Oh how cute he was & I was so excited when Fred called to say he was bringing him home. I could barely wait until they got home that night so I could meet my new son!

Everyone I talked to, kept telling me how much hard work it would be & how after a few weeks I would be ready to give up on bottle feeding & throw in the towel basically. So I have to say at first I was nervous since I had never done this before & I wasn't quite sure about the experience.

Lets just say my #1 problem was... my muscles. Oh wow, I had no idea I would be using muscles that I didn't even know I had. After the first full day of 4 bottle feedings... that next morning I could barely get out of bed, my legs & back hurt so badly. Instead of dwelling on the fact I wanted to amputate my legs at that point, I focused on the fact that sore muscles was in fact a good thing. This only meant that I was getting a complete workout in the process of being a new mommy. After about a week my muscles got used to the workout & I enjoyed every minute of bottle feeding Dusty.

Then on April 2nd, just 7 days after I became Dusty's new mommy... I once again became a bottle calf mommy to Bruno also! Bruno was a rather large baby & his mom ended up partially paralyzed & Bruno needed new mommy to step in & take care of him. Unfortunately Bruno's mom didn't make it, but she went to a better place & not suffering anymore.

Bruno & Dusty are close to the same age but Bruno was way bigger than Dusty. At first bottle feeding both of them at the same time wasn't a big deal... but the bigger & older they got... it was impossible for me to hold both bottles at the same time. This is when bottle racks came in handy. Thank God for who ever came up with that idea.

Now the babies are 8 months old & wow how much they've grown! Dusty & Bruno weigh about 400lbs, they are huge!

I have to say I was sad when the day came that I had to slow down on bottle feeding & merging them to feed & hay instead. I enjoyed bottle feeding my babies & taking care of them everyday. I didn't mind the responsibility or all the work it took. In fact... I miss it. I think I'm having withdraws. ha ha

I'm patiently waiting & hoping for another bottle baby soon!

happy turkey day

Well today is officially Happy Turkey Day! Has this year just flown by or is it just me?

If I think back to this time last year... let's see. I had just heard the news the Monday before Thanksgiving that my company was closing it's doors & I would have to start looking for another job. This was not the type of news anyone wants to hear right before the holidays for sure. At that moment I wasn't sure how I was going to make it through but somehow I've managed.

Thanksgiving is the time of year to think about all the things in your life that you are thankful for... even though there are things we all wish that were different, everyone still has a list of things that they're thankful for.

I'm very thankful for having the love & support of my wonderful family. I wish that everyone had a relationship with their family like I do with mine. I've been truly blessed that's for sure.

I'm thankful for being able to spend precious moments everyday with my grandma in her last years. Those are memories that I will have in my heart forever & nobody can take away or ever replace.

I'm thankful that I have a wonderful boyfriend (hopefully future husband) Fred. Words can't express how deep my love for him really is & how I look forward to spending the rest of my life with him & having his babies.

I'm thankful for all of my awesome friends. I have the greatest friends in the world. They're always supportive & there when ever I've needed them.

Really, I could go on & on with all the things I'm thankful for in my life, but those are just a few.

Today started way to early... got out of bed around 8am & started cooking. I made hashbrown casserole & 2 pans of apple dumplings. Needless to say time ran a little short & we didn't leave the house until 11:30am. We ran by Fred's parents house to drop off hashbrown casserole & 1 pan of apple dumplings, then headed towards Mustang to my brother's house. We got there at 12:30pm... better late then never right? Well, that's always my theory at least. Plus, I think everyone's pretty much used to me never being on time anyways. If I plan to be on time somewhere, it never fails something will happen that will cause me to be late & usually really late... so I finally just gave up & quit worrying about pushing myself.

After hanging out at my brother's house for a few hours, we left & headed back to Fred's parents house. We stayed there until about 6ish then headed home for the night. Sitting on the couch after eating two meals within a 3 hour period of time, my eyes started closing, so Fred decided it was time to take me home before I passed out on his parent's couch.

I can't help it, first mistake was that we stayed out way to late last night when we should've been a little smarter & went to bed at like 10pm. Then eating all that wonderful food today... twice... yeah that pretty much did me in. Lots of holiday food usually equals a nap shortly there after for me.

All in all... I'm thankful for everything & everyone in my life. I'm especially thankful for sharing Thanksgiving with both of our wonderful families. Today was just an all around great day!

Happy Turkey Day

it's a girl

Well it's official... I'm going to be the proud great-aunt again to a baby girl! My niece Rachel is pregnant, due on Gabrielle's birthday in fact, which is April 25th. Gabrielle is my great-niece, so how cool would that be if they shared the same birthday.

I'm so excited for my niece & I can't wait to have another great-niece.

This only makes my baby fever even worse then before. I've had baby fever for several years now & it just keeps getting worse. Especially since it seems like everyone I know has had babies in the past year or they are currently pregnant. I'm so jealous I can't even put it into words.

Unfortunately at the rate I'm going... I'll be lucky to have any children before I turn 40 years old. Very depressing to think about, so I try not to if I can help it. I joke about it all the time but deep inside it really bothers me & I'd give anything to have a marriage & children in my life. I still keep hoping & crossing my fingers for this to come true.

In the meantime, I will just enjoy everyone else's children.

Cracker Barrel Hashbrown Casserole

If you haven't had the hasbrown casserole from Cracker Barrel then you seriously need to, because it's awesome! I happened to find the recipe for it online & I've made it several times now & it's turned out great! Just thought I would share the recipe.

Cracker Barrel Hashbrown Casserole

2 lbs. frozen hashbrowns
1/2 cup melted butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups grated cheddar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 cups crushed cornflakes
1/4 cup melted butter

DEFROST hashbrowns

COMBINE next 7 ingr. and mix with hashbrowns

PUT all in a 3 qt. casserole

SAUTE cornflakes in butter and sprinkle on top

COVER and BAKE at 350 for about 40 min

My friend Krissy suggested to use Frosted Flakes instead of regular corn flakes & I really liked it better when I made it that way. Just a little suggestion.

Xpress Redi-Set-Go

This has got to be the coolest thing ever! I'm so amazed at the neat stuff they come out with these days. I first saw the GT Xpress 101 a year ago & I wanted one from the moment I saw it. Then a few weeks ago I saw this new & improved version called the Xpress Redi-Set-Go... wow! So move over GT Xpress 101! Now I've gotta have this new & improved version!

To top it off, we were at Fred's parents house the other day & I walked in the kitchen & guess what his mom had sitting on her counter? Yep, you guessed it... a Xpress Redi-Set-Go! It's allot smaller than what I had imagined, because on tv I think everything looks bigger I guess. That's ok, I still think it's cool & I still want one! I mean come on, think of all the ways you could use this thing, wow. My first thought is... omlet! And if you visit the website you can watch a video with this lady making a bunch of fun stuff with it too!

So I'm adding this to my list for Santa this Christmas!

skunky

By noon time rolled around yesterday, I was ready to crawl in a hole somewhere, but instead of giving into that thought, I somehow managed to make it through the rest of the afternoon & I'm happy to say I somehow survived!

I worked late, then had to run by the post office to drop off the mail. I barely made it to the bank before 6pm when they close, then I headed home. Of course when I left work it was already dark outside, which always sucks. I got home, let Abigail outside, put her dinner down, changed clothes, then headed to Tan & Tone. After tanning I decided to go ahead & stop by Wal-Mart to get a few things. I got home around 8:30pm jumped in the shower & got around. Fred didn't get home til 10pm, then he jumped in the shower & we headed to "Friends" to meet our buddies & have a few drinks. After we left there we stopped at IHOP to grab something to eat before heading home.

Arriving home... we had quite the surprise awaiting us. Not a good surprise either... a very bad surprise! Definitely a surprise we could've done completely without. As we opened the front door our breath was taken away by the one & only un-distinctable smell of a SKUNK! Keep in mind we live in an apartment ontop of the barn. So somehow a skunky wiggled its way into the barn & decided to grace us with it's breath taking perfume de skunk. I'm not even sure breath taking is even the right word to describe it. Despite the strong smell, we somehow managed to go to bed, sleep through the night & we were still alive this morning. Let's just say that the smell was still very strong this morning & it wasn't until I let Abigail outside & walked back in the house that I realized just how strong the smell really was. It would almost knock ya down, YUCK, YUCK & DOUBLE YUCK! We left the house & headed to Fred's parents house & on the ride in the truck I realized my purse even smelled like skunk, even better huh! My next thought was, oh shit I probably smell like a skunk too... great just what I wanna smell like.

We opened both overhead barn doors, windows, sprayed fabreeze, thrown a bunch of moth balls all around & turned one of those large fans downstairs in hopes this would free the skunky smell & keep skunky out or from coming back in again. I searched the internet & found that mixing baking soda & water & spraying this mixture all around will also help eliminate the smell... so I've done that too. I have to say just in the past few hours the smell has gotten better, but it's still there. Faint... but the smell is still there. Hopefully by tomorrow morning it will be vanished for good. I've got all my fingers & toes crossed.

I'm hoping tonight I don't have any more skunk nightmeres either, geez. Yes... it's true, last night I had a nightmere about a skunk & let's just say it didn't end up like I would want it to happen in for-real life either. In for-real life there would be a firearm involved, but in my nightmere somehow I ended up adopting the skunk, getting it de-skunked & taking care of it... can we say YIKES. That was a true nightmere & scared the hell out of me! Why in the world would I have adopted a skunk? Geez, I must have missed the part in my nightmere where I was drugged to have even thought about doing something like that. Who knows.

Dreams/Nightmeres are so crazy sometimes. Well... maybe I'm just speaking for myself, but oh well.

Yet another crazy story in my life.

almost friday

Just a few more hours until it is officially Friday. One more week until Thanksgiving is here. Hard to believe another year is almost over. Crazy how fast time flies by the older you get. Someone slow it down please!

I hate it when the time changes & it's starts getting dark by the time I get off work. It's hard to do anything outside in the evenings after work, unless you rush rush rush & then it' gets dark & cold & you might as well go inside, crawl under a heating blanket & pop in a movie or find something on tv.

To me, winter is the time of year that's perfect for hibernating in the warmth of home. Cold & freezing temperatures are just simply miserable to me. If they made a pair of coveralls that were like a heating blanket, I would definitely invest in a pair & wear them everytime I decided to step foot outside during the winter months. I'm the type of person that will let my truck run for 30 minutes, to make sure it's nice & toasty inside before making the brisk run from the front door to the truck.

Today was a good day. The weather was decent & even though the work day wasn't near long enough for me to get everything accomplished that I wanted to... that's ok. I've gotten allot marked off my to-do-list at work this week & hopefully tomorrow I will really be able to kick it into action & get even more marked off my list.

Fred left this morning & headed to Carter, he should be back sometime tomorrow or Saturday. I don't mind him being gone, but I do miss him while he's away. I enjoy spending time together & I have fun when it's just the two of us. I can't really describe it, except we just fit together.

I met my friend Pam for dinner at Charleston's this evening & guess what I had to eat? Of course... Baked Potato Soup & salad. You can't go to Charleston's to eat & not order Baked Potato Soup, come on! I'm so glad I found the recipe for it & if you haven't seen my post with the recipe, here's the link to it, click here: Charleston's Baked Potato Soup

I'm excited to go look at more houses this weekend. Just the thought of having a home with a nice size kitchen where I have room to cook & have family & friends over for dinner or even holidays. I just wanna jump up & down just thinking about it! Having a washer & dryer is a dream also... I wouldn't have to lug loads of laundry across the yard to Kev's house & feel like I'm intruding into anyone else's space. Or wouldn't have to deal with the non-working dryers at the laundry mats either. To have enough room in the bedroom to be able to walk around both sides of the bed... a closet big enough to fit both our wardrobes... oh what a dream!

I will probably pass out from excitement when the day comes we actually purchase a home. Don't laugh, but I have this feeling that a few tears might roll down my cheek. Happy tears, of course. But just the thought of having a nice house again, is emotional for me. It might sound crazy, but I'm just being truthful here.

Well it's time for me to call it a night & get some beauty rest. Tune back in tomorrow for more excitement.

I actually think this one tastes better then the one at Olive Garden... I don't know why, but to me it just does. And seriously... if I can make this... then anyone can. I totally feel like a gourmet chef when I make this! ha ha

Charleston's - Baked Potato Soup

Ok, this recipe has the key to my heart... I have to admit I'm in love with Charleston's Baked Potato Soup & I have been for a number of years now. Although I wouldn't dare tell my mom that I'm in love with someone else's potato soup, but well it can be our little secret. One day I do plan on making it for her, just to see what she thinks. Can everyone say YUMMY!

Charleston's - Baked Potato Soup

1 1/2 cans chicken broth
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon minced onion
1/8 teaspoon oregano
1/8 teaspoon parsley
5 tablespoons butter, melted
5 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 cups half and half
4 cups cubed potatoes with or without skins

GARNISHMENTS:
sliced green onions
crisp cooked bacon bits
cheddar cheese

In large pan, mix chicken broth, water, minced onions, oregano, and parsley. Bring to a boil; simmer 5 minutes.

Add melted butter, stir in flour slowly, and add salt and pepper. Stir in half and half; cook until bubbly.

Add potatoes. Cook until done over low to medium heat, stirring occasionally. If cooked too fast, the soup will burn before potatoes cook thoroughly.

Garnish each bowl with the chopped onion, crisp cooked bacon, and grated cheese.

leopard print wish list

While we were at Academy the other night, I saw two things I absolutely must have! It's not front page news that I'm a animal print freak, mostly anything leopard print but I love all animal print though.

So check out these awesome rubber boots... I mean seriously... leopard print rubber boots... can we all say PERFECT!

All I can say is that whom ever came up with the idea to create leopard print rubber boots, had to be thinking about me at the time. I can already picture myself walking out to the barn, jeans tucked inside my leopard print rubber boots... to feed & take care of baby bottle calves.

And guess how much they are? Only $20.00! That's even more perfect, they are awesome & affordable at the same time. Right up my alley.

I'm not one of those people who own a hundred different pairs of shoes either. I think I can count my entire shoe/boot collection on two hands & that's pushing it.

It gets better though... while walking up & down every aisle in Academy just killin' time... I ran across something else that I must have. A leopard print folding chair!

I couldn't resist, I pulled the chair down off the display to test it out & see how comfortable it was. And yes... very soft & comfy & perfect for me. During this process, Fred is looking at me like I've lost my mind, but come on, that's not front page news either. I never claimed to be a sain person, geez. To top it off, if I remember correctly, I think the chair only cost $25.00... so once again, awesome & affordable. I felt like I had hit the jackpot or something! ha ha

Picture this... Me sitting in my leopard print chair with my leopard print rubber boots on! PERFECT picture isn't it? Yep, I couldn't agree more.

It doesn't take allot to make me happy sometimes. If I do get to buy my boots & chair... hit me up in 20 years & I can guarantee I'll still have them both. That's just me for ya. I tend to hold onto & take care of things for a very long time. When you don't have allot of money or any to spend to begin with... it makes you really learn to appreciate the few new things you do get along the way.

Take Care Of Yer Friends

Friend is a word that I don't throw around
Though it's used and abused, I still like the sound
I save it for people who've done right by me

Some of my friends drive big limousines
Own ranches and banks and visit with queens
And some of my friends are up to their neck
In overdue notes and can't write a check

They're singers or ropers or writers of prose
And others, God bless 'em, can't blow their own nose
I guess bein' friends don't have nothin' to do
With talent or money or knowin' who's who

It's a comfortable feelin' when you don't have to care
'Bout choosin' your words or bein' quite fair
'Cause friends'll just listen and let go on by
Those words you don't mean and not bat an eye

It makes a friend happy to see your success
They're proud of yer good side and forgive all the rest
And that ain't so easy, all of the time
Sometimes I get crazy and seem to go blind

Yer friend just might have to take you on home
Or remind you sometime that you're not alone
Or ever so gently pull you back to the ground
When you think you can fly with no one around

A hug or a shake, whichever seems right
Is the high point of givin', I'll tell ya tonight
All wordly riches and tributes of men
Can't hold a candle to the worth of a friend

feels like Monday

To me, today felt like another Monday. It's just been one of those days that I've wrote down the wrong date on everything, I know everyone else has had days like this too.

Lets see... what shall we write about tonight?

I almost slept through my alarm this morning, but this is not front page news nor is this out of the ordinary either. It's sad to say but it's the truth.

After making my usual morning pit-stop by the post office, I headed to work. For some reason the drive to work felt like it took forever. That's never a good start for the day when the drive to work seems like it took twice the time it usually does.

All in all, work went well today. Well... besides the fact I wrote the wrong date down all day long & it felt like Monday. The work day is just never long enough. Especially when you have one million things on your to-do-list & somedays it doesn't feel like you've accomplished anything on it. That's how most of my work days go though.

5pm just couldn't come quick enough. After arriving home from work, I loaded up a basket full of laundry & headed to Kev's to throw a load in to start washing. Fred got home around 6:30pm just in time to help me carry the next load of laundry over to Kev's, great timing!

We ran & grabbed Sonic for our dinner & watched "18 kids & counting", which is one of my favorite shows right now. Currently working on the 3rd load of laundry as I sit here & write.

Wow... not a very exciting day huh, but man does it fly by quickly. Before I turn around, it will be midnight & I will find myself complaining about how I don't go to bed early enough & wanting to scream at myself for not passing out at 10pm. Sadly, more often than not I'm up until midnight. Typically working on rodeo stuff, or something.

Now that I've started this new "public" blog, well I'm still in the process of deleting & going thru my old "private" blog & deciding whether to merge some of my crazy stories or just hit the delete button instead. So far I've been hitting the delete button, but there are a few I might re-vamp & re-post on here.

Is it bad or good when you go back & read some of the stuff you write & you fall out of your seat laughing at some of the stuff you wrote? Wait... don't answer that.

I haven't had much time on my hands since I started this new blog to put everything on here I want to, so be sure & check back often... cause I will be adding things as I capture some time to.

the weekend

Well yet another weekend came & gone. The weekends are just never long enough in my opinion, but I'm sure others share my opinion too.

Friday night the plan originally was to make it out to the World Show to walk thru the buildings & hang out... but we ended up not making it off the couch. I did however successfully engineer something to fix the feeder down spout on the feed truck. Here let me clarify... After watching Fred attempt to figure out some way to fill the gaps on the sides of the spout so the feed wouldn't pour out the sides instead of down like it needs to... I asked if I could have a shot at coming up with a solution. First plan of action didn't work out, but in the process of that plan I had a brilliant idea spark in my brain. It's called DUCT TAPE! Everyone has to love that stuff & everyone needs to have at least 3 rolls just hanging around the house. To top it off they even make it in tons of different colors now, so depending on what you need to use it for... you have color options! Anyways, needless to say after some serious engineering (not really to serious), it ended up working out perfectly & I ended up feeling like I was a genius. Ok, maybe not really a genius but ya know what I mean, I was proud that my plan of action worked out.

Saturday we got up & around, stopped by my parents house for a few minutes to say hi. My brother, great-niece & great-nephew were there helping with some stuff around the house & yard, so since I rarely get to see the kids these days, we decided to stop for a few minutes. After that we headed to the city to check out houses or aka manufactured homes.

Let me just say WOW... some of these houses are truly amazing to say the least. It's hard to decide on anything. Some of them look like mansions on the inside, it's just crazy what they can do these days. I remember like a million years ago when all manufactured homes pretty much came standard & looked the exact same for the most part. There weren't many options back then, but nowdays... everything is an option & it's almost unbelievable.

We spent most of the afternoon looking at homes, then we headed towards Edmond, so we could stop by & feed my 4-legged child Katey Belle, since David was out of town. Oh how I miss my Katey Belle. I love it when I get to see her & spend time with her. I hate that I haven't been able to move her out to where I'm living yet. Leaving her breaks my heart everytime. She's just the sweetest baby ever I swear!

Last time I visited her, my batteries on my camera weren't charged & I didn't get any pictures of her, but this time I made sure the batteries were charged.

After taking care of Katey Belle we headed home to take care of Abigail aka my other 4-legged child & then after we got cleaned up, we decided to head out to a place called Friends to do some dancing. We actually didn't end up dancing, my cousin met us there for a few drinks then we left & went to Hudsons.

Sunday we were a little lazy & slept in, then we hung around the house til around 4pm then went to Outback Steakhouse for some dinner, then on to the World Show to watch a friend of ours show. We had a good time but by the time we got to the World Show we didn't have much time to walk around & see everything we wanted to before they started shutting down. So we are hoping to get to be able to make it back there before it's over.

All in all we had a good weekend, of course it just wasn't long enough as I said before.

here goes nothing

Here I am once again... starting yet another blog. The difference here is this one is going public. Yep, you read that right, public! Sounds scary, I know. I'm sure anyone that knows me well has fallen out of their chair right now & thinking OH NO. Don't worry, I'm not scared that anyone & everyone might think I've lost my mind some days or maybe I'm just simply crazy. Those thoughts have crossed my mind a few times, but I've came to the conclusion that I'm ok with it & don't really care if people think I'm a little crazy. Because well... it's hard to hide the truth right, ha ha.

So here's the low down on my blogging expertise...
First, I'm far from being any type of expert about anything. Second, I'm just a normal everyday type of person. I like to consider myself a fairly low-maintenance person. I don't ask for allot but I like to give allot. I'm one of those giving, loving type of people who have a hard time receiving.

The reason I named my blog "When Two Trails Become One Road", is very simple actually. From the moment I saw the statue, I fell in love with it. The first thought that crossed my mind from that very moment was that would be my ultimate perfect wedding gift when or if that day ever comes in my life. A girl can dream can't she? There's never any harm in that, at least I don't think so. The other reason is that I would love to be able to write a story about myself & my one true love. Ya know... how we met, the road that brought us together & hopefully making the steps for a future together, etc. Ok, that sounds kinda mushy & cheesy I guess, oh well.

My day to day life is always interesting, I wear many different hats. I sit behind a desk 40 hours a week, volunteer secretary & web designer for the Edmond Round Up Club, proud mommy of several bottle calves & 2 precious dogs (Abigail Elizabeth, Jack Russell & Katey Belle, English Setter) and standing beside me through every crazy day of my life is my supportive love, Fred. Most days my life moves at warp speed & it's hard for me to keep up with myself sometimes.

Well that's the short story version of what's up!
